Antagonists got what they deserved. Happy endings for all others. What else could a romance reader want?It was too perfect a world at the end. And I wouldn't recommend this novel to anyone who hates melodrama. We're talking "The Perils of Pauline" here . Wadeson should have been described as wearing a black cape and stovetop hat, twisting his thin black handlebar moustache, and cackling, "Nya-ah-ah!"
The plot lines are what kept me interested, especially since I wanted questions answered concerning Eleanor, her dad, and that gosh-awful Wadeson.
One more point: the author should have spent more time and words on developing the bond between Eleanor and Joseph, because theirs was a potentially great match. I was disappointed that they had fallen for each other so early in the book. It was rushed.

The Four Sister's Series was great in its entirety. The last book gave a great epilogue of each sister and their family. I always love this in a book. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
When I read the first book, I was a little indignant about the loose ends. However, reading all of them wraps up nearly every storyline to satisfaction. Reading these novels is a very pleasant way to pass a weekend afternoon.
The last sister and the end of a very good series. I found after reading Roselind's book that I had to read each sisters tale. Each book was better than the one before, each sister had to find her own way and each one was met with a struggling situation. This is my first encounter with Audrey Harrison and I have loved every minute of reading each sister book. Great job, I highly recommend 1,2,3,and 4.
I am presently devouring CLEAN Regency, and this fits the bill. At first I was not completely happy with the writing style, but as I loved the plot of the first, "Rosalind", that soon changed. Still though, the proofreading leaves a bit to be desired, Grammar Nazi that I am. Also, Mumbai was known as Bombay until 1995! It's too bad there are not 7 sisters like there are 7 brothers in Sarah Eden's Jonquil Brothers series. As it is, I plan to read more by this author.
I read all 4 of the "Sisters'" books and enjoyed them. Not literary master pieces, but entertaining. I would have added another star if it weren't for the gratuitous sex scenes. Give it up romance writers out there. Just write an entertaining novel, have the couples fade into the sunset, and we'll let our imaginations fill in the blanks. There really is "nothing new under the sun", as King Solomon said
Spoiler alert! Am I the only one who has a problem with this plot. It's got more holes than a colander. Up until this pathetic plot (and the entire Annabelle story) I liked Audrey Harrison and thought she was going to be one of my go-to authors. BUT, this plot! What would be the point of Johnson being afraid of Wadeson blabbing. The minute Wadeson goes to the authorities with Johnson's "secret" is the time Wadeson will also be exposed. Eleanor and Joseph were sweet, as were all the sisters and their beaus, but this plot was so limp it took all the shine off the stories.
